一说到“努力做某事”，你是不是首先想到 try to do sth . 除此之外，还能想到其他的替换表达吗？
其实 try to do sth 本身并没有问题，但总在写作中用到这个短语的话，多多少少会暴露你的词汇量啦。

give it a go/try/whirl
试一试
讲解：whirl 这个词本身是表示旋转，但是在词组里，give it a whirl, 意思就是试一试，to try to do something you have not tried before.
我也喜欢脑筋急转弯，那就来试试吧。
02.
give your all
竭尽全力
讲解：把你的全部都要给出来，所以就是很努力，竭尽全力去做某事，to use all your energy and determination to achieve something that is personally very important to you. 是个适合发朋友圈的鸡汤短句。后面的介词搭配用 in.
例句：Igave my allin the race.
为了这个比赛我尽力啦。

go out of your way to do something
特意做，使尽浑身解数来做
讲解：这个词组不是字面意思上的，不走自己的路，而是说，使尽浑身解数来做一件事，本来可以不用这么做，但是还特意来做，to make a special effort to do sth.
例句1：You don't have togo out of your way tohelp me. I can manage it.
你不用特意来帮我，我能应付来的。
例句2：She is so kind and is a cat person, alwaysgoing out of her way tofeed and help the alley cats.
她特别善良，也很喜欢猫，总是会特意去喂养帮助流浪猫。

pull out all the stops
尽力做某事
讲解：这个习语是和音乐有关，stops 可以表示风琴的音栓，琴师弹奏风琴的时候，需要很用力的拉音栓，所以 pull out all the stops 就延伸出，很努力，尽全力做某事的这个意思，to do everything possible to make it successful.
例句1：The companiespulled out all the stopsto allure us to spend more money buying stuff.
公司费尽心引诱要我们多花钱买东西。
例句2：To make sure the speedy delivery, logistics companies alsopulled out all the stops.
为了保证快速的配送，物流公司也是特别努力。

bend over backwards to do something
竭尽全力做，超出自己能力去做
讲解：bend 是弯腰的意思，bend over backwards，其实是向后下腰的那个动作，为了做一件事都要下腰，所以真的是在竭尽全力了，you're making every possible effort to be helpful or to please someone, even when this causes you difficulty or inconvenience. 词组还带有一点讨好的意味在里面。
例句1：They reallybend over backwards todeliver the packages.
他们是真的很努力地在配送包裹了。
例句2：My new roommate isbending over backwards toingratiate himself to me.
我的新室友在不遗余力地讨好我。

go to great lengths
to do something
使尽一切手段，竭尽全力做
讲解：length 本意是长度，词组的意思是竭尽全力做某事，而且程度还比较重，有那种不达目的、不择手段的意味，这一层意思可以通过词组的英文释义感受到，to be willing to use any method that is necessary in order to achieve sth, even if this involves being dishonest or breaking the law.
例句：China's fan circles, or fanquan, are highly organized groups that willgo to great lengths tosupport their idol, from doing charity work in their name to waging digital war on social media to boost their ranking.
中国的饭圈是高度组织化的团体，他们会不遗余力地支持他们的爱豆，无论是以爱豆的名义做慈善，还是在社交媒体上为爱豆应援打榜。
