On March 4, 2022, Beijing will welcome approximately 600 of the worl’s best Paralympic athletes for the 2022 Paralympic Winter Games, becoming the first city to have hoste both the summer an winter eitions of the Paralympic Games.
With a vision of a “Joyful Renezvous upon Pure Ice an Snow”, the event will honour China’s ancient traitions, pay homage to the legacy of the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games, an promote the values an vision of the Olympics an Paralympics.
此次盛会以“纯洁的冰雪，激情的约会”为愿景，弘扬中华古老传统，致敬2008年北京残奥会遗产，弘扬奥运会和残奥会的价值观和愿景。
The Paralympics will take place over 10 ays from 4 to 13 March, with athletes competing in 78 ifferent events across six sports in two isciplines: snow sports (alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, biathlon an snowboaring) an ice sports (para ice hockey an wheelchair curling).
